The drinks are great. was rolled out a bit too think so middle crust was wet but still GOOD!!!! Tuscan Sea Grill will be open every day for lunch and dinner, and brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. But from there, it takes a hard turn into New England—the pie is topped with Vermont cheddar cheese, roasted corn, and a generous amount of tender, perfectly cooked claw and knuckle meat. We explained that we requested a table outside but was then told by the person seating us that we'd have to get back on the list and wait another 40 minutes - why? The location is top notch with beautiful water views. Our party also ordered the scallop entree. This is ALWAYS an awkward situation because the other members of the party want to eat their food but feel they have to wait for your new food...which could be delivered when they are already finished. It's really beautiful inside and out, and the location overlooking the water and the boating scene in Newburyport and the bridge to Salisbury is gorgeous. Heagarty says that as safety is paramount, for now not every table will be for seating, but rather to keep the space from feeling empty. So agitating....not relaxing. It starts with the airy toothsome dough, made with the imported double-zero flour the company is known for, baked in a copper oven that is the focal point of the new open kitchen. Great texture and flavor. Great location, absolutely fantastic food, great beer selection and very helpful...and engaging staff. Granted this is a new location for Tuscan, but this was not our mistake. Renovations on the former Black Cow space created an airy ode to the waterfront, from white shiplap on the vaulted ceiling to a clear roof over the patio, all combining to fill the space with light. We ate outside and the tables were generously spaced in...compliance with COVID guidelines.
